Situated in the centre of
the village close to the pub/restaurant and village shop, the Old School Room
offers a perfect setting to explore beautiful Northumberland with home
comforts and relaxing surroundings.
Still with it's original bell tower, the Old School Room was the village
school and parish room until 1751, and remained as a winter church until
more recent times. Any stay is not complete without a visit
to the 'Village Local' for a hearty meal and a well poured beverage or two.
